The Crisis
In conflict-affected regions like Nasir County, many children spend their early years without stepping into a classroom. For displaced families, survival often comes before schooling. But the cost of this lost education is immense—socially, emotionally, and economically.
Our Response: Education in Emergencies
Mission Trust Aid is actively working to bridge this gap through emergency education support, including:
- Temporary Learning Spaces (TLS): Safe, child-friendly spaces set up in IDP camps and remote villages
- School Supplies Distribution: Exercise books, pencils, uniforms, and hygiene kits for displaced learners
- Teacher Training: Equipping community educators with the tools to deliver quality instruction
- Psycho-social Support: Helping children process trauma through games, counseling, and safe environments
